Velgi

This is a straightforward clone of the first level of Velgress from UFO 50, made for Eggjam #24. It's a platformer where you climb up a procedurally generated tower while the ground crumbles behind you.

The main purpose of this game is to test my custom lighting and physics engines in a "real" context, at which it has been quite successful already, but most of the graphics consist of placeholder shapes which may be replaced in the future. The project is open source and can be found on GitHub.

Controls

Currently only keyboard controls are available and cannot be customized.

The lighting is fairly demanding on the GPU. If the game doesn't run well for you, try a lower lighting quality setting (1 = lowest, 4 = highest, default: 4) or a smaller window.
